WE ARE RECRUITING - VOLUNTEER MENTORS
If you are passionate about making a difference for young people and adults in the future of work then you could volunteer to help deliver an exciting new programme at Inclusive Change At Work CIC.
The role involves supporting our AUTISTIC AND NEURODIVERGENT trainees part-time.
A Lead mentor supports the team of volunteer mentors who, after completion of training will:
* Support a trainee within the workplace
* Support a trainee with neurodiversity training around their strengths and weaknesses
* Empower our trainees, to reflect on their work experiences to discover what works for them in the workplace and what they are inspired by
The first work placement location is within Your Village Shop, a retail outlet based in South Gloucestershire. Further work placement locations to follow in South Glos & Bristol with partner organisations.
The role is not paid work.
As a learning organisation, we will work with volunteers to ensure the training we give them will help you grow and develop new skills.
We would ask you to sign up for a minimum of 3 months to be able to learn and put into practice how we support a young person. Of course, we hope you would love working in the team and remain for further projects as we grow.
We aim to be an inclusive employer and welcome applications from neurodivergent adults or those with real lived experience of neurodiversity.
This is a unique and exciting opportunity and we look forward to hearing from people who want to help us make a difference for the next generation of neurodivergent talent in the workplace.
We are committed to a Safer Recruitment process. Successful applicants will be asked to complete a DBS check and give 2 references.
Please tell us why you wish to be a Volunteer Mentor in your application.
