Inclusive Change At Work CIC - Volunteer Mentor


Are passionate about making a difference for young people and adults in the future of work? Volunteer with us at Inclusive Change at Work!

As a mentor to an autistic / neurodivergent trainee you will:

  • support a trainee within the workplace
  • work with your trainee around their strengths and needs using our neurodiversity curriculum
  • empower your trainee to reflect on their work experience, gain self-awareness and discover what they are inspired by in the workplace.

You will receive training and regular supervision. Your travel expenses will be refunded.

The main work placement location is at : Your Village Shop in Stoke Gifford, Bristol BS16 1YF.

Further work placement locations are to follow around the region with partner organisations.

The role is not paid work. As a learning company, we will work with volunteers to ensure the training we give them will help them grow and develop new skills.

We ask you to sign up for a minimum of 3 months to be able to learn and put into practice how we support a young person.

Of course, we hope you would love working in the team and remain for further projects as we grow.

Applicants will be expected to provide references and successful candidates will require an enhanced DBS prior to commencing volunteering.
